Is it possible to update/modify an effect preset after you've created it and applied to to some clips?

E.g. I've created effect preset and applied it to 3 clips. A day later, I want to modify that effect preset and have those changes automatically propagate to those same 3 clips. Is  this possible and if so, how?

Thank you.

It can't be done automatically.

You can apply the new preset to one clip, right-click the clip in the timeline, and choose copy.

Then select the other clips, right click, and choose paste attributes.

Thank you very much for the rapid reply. For some reason I didn't get a notification about it.

Another question -- is it possible to mark clips as belonging to the same semantics group (e.g. "Person X talking") somehow so that I could easily select all of them? I'm new to Premiere Pro.

Use the label colors.
