Can you change AE files while Dynamic Link is Rendering?

I am rendering several videos out for a client. A 10, 20, and 30 minute timer is needed.

The timer is Dynamicly Linked in Premiere Pro to After Effects. 

The 10 min video is in Media Encoder Rendering now. Does this mean I can go into the AE file, change the timer to 20 min and add to the queue the next video? Or will that mess up the current Render I have started? How does the Dynamic Link work while a file is off Rendering in Media Encoder?
