Can you have different aspect ratios in the same sequence?

Hi all, so I'm making a Youtube video with a very square 1.19:1 ratio. But for the outro part I want to widen the aspect ratio out to the standard 16:9 so there's room for me and the credits/end screen links to share the same screen.

Is this possible?

No. You can add say a 'box' masking off the sides, but that would still have to be there as black or white bars the whole time.

It can be done super easy but you don't use a mask. Just make a cut in the adjustment layer where you need it and use the crop filter. That being said Premiere Pro can also export in ways no other NLE can as demonstrated in the video. You might want to watch the video below at two minutes in.
