can you overlay a 2d video in a 360 video and have it always fixed to the bottom right no matter how the field of view changes?

I'm filming a 360 video of a group of singers in a circle, with the singing leader and the 360 camera positioned in the middle of the circle. I'm also filming a 2d video of the singing leader from the back of the room. What I'd like to do is overlay the 2d video of the leader onto the 360 video but have it always appear in the bottom right of the 360 video no matter how the viewer spins around the 360 view (like the classic picture in picture effect). I've tried the Plane to Sphere effect in Premiere but that fixes the 2d video into a set location on the 360 video; I'd like the 2d video to almost be like a logo that just stays fixed to the bottom right of the frame when viewing a 360 video on YouTube. Is this possible? Thanks for any help folks can provide.

    I was struggling with this same thing a while ago and realized there's no way to accomplish it in Premiere Pro but if you're open to switching to a different application, I've found it works in Unity so that the logo (or whatever you want) will stay in the same location no matter the head movement through the VR (or in other words it will follow the head movement no matter where you look).

    Thanks for the reply. Did you see my reply here? There, I asked you if you used the VR Plane to Sphere effect. Doesn't that do what you wish? Let me know. Sorry for the frustration.

    Sorry, I didn't see your previous reply. The VR Plane to Sphere effect didn't work for me, so I used Unity instead.

    I came across this while looking for another question and just have to say: 🤦‍♂

     

    What you all want is fundamentally impossible.  Think about it for 2 seconds.  You want a logo, on a video, that moves around the video, based on the user.  There is no possible way to embed that info into a video.  Period.

     

    The only way to do something like this is to have the video player, in this case youtube, natively support a logo overlay.

        Hi Steven,

        I am trying to achieve exactly the same as you. I have been searching information about this option but the only thing I have found is some research BBC did related to captions. It seems they managed to have captions always in the same position no matter how the viewers look around:
