Cannot get Transitions to work

Hi,

When I drag a transition in between two video clips, nothing happens.

When I watch tutorials online, the transition apepars over the top of both videos, but when I do it, I don't get anything and I also don't have any option to modify the transition.

Figured out the problem. Everything was fine, I was just so far zoomed out that I couldn't see the transition on the timeline. Zooming way in made it visible.
