Cannot get waveforms to appear on certain clips

Hello, I can not for the life of me get waveforms to appear on certain clips in my premiere project. I am working on a pretty big project here, and have already spent 30+ hours on it, so I do not want to have to start over in any way. To explain the issue more, I just upgraded from CS6, and two of my background audio clips will not generate audio waveforms. They are located an A2, and there are other clips in that track that are showing waveforms. I have made sure waveforms are enabled by using the wrench icon. I have tried removing (both manually and through the program) the preview files and regenerating them multiple times. I'm at a bit of a loss here, and I need to get these working to streamline my "cutting to the beat" effect. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

From an old reddit post, this may be due to corrupt conformed files

https://www.reddit.com/r/editors/comments/34k6bs/no_audio_waveform_premier_pro_cc_2014/cqvveyx/

Try this:

If you don't want to delete all you other conformed files, delete the track from premiere, close premiere, re-name the file, open premiere project & re-import, make sure it conforms.

Or, on the timeline, select the clip, the go to Clip>Audio>Render and Replace.

Did you try Sequence > Render audio?

If mp3 files, convert to wav files before importing into Premiere Pro.

What is the audio format of the clips that do not show waveforms?

I have two .mp3 audio clips that will not show waveforms. All others will. Also, all other video files with linked audio will as well. I have attached a screenshot to explain more.

As said in an earlier post:
