Cannot Import Presentation Clip

I have an AVCHD file that is 1 hour 13 minutes, when i try to import it shows as two seperate clips. I have tried importing both and also one at a time. I only get the spinning wheel after a few minutes. Any suggestions on what can be done?

Make sure to copy the entire contents of the memory card (including the Private folder) to an internal hard drive of your computer. Then use the Media Browser to import the clip into Premiere Pro.
