Cannot Render .mgrt in Team Project (DropBox)

Hello All,

I am trying to import an Adobe Stock .mgrt (and even some from Motion Array and Envato) into my Team Project and each time, I get the dreaded "Loading Motion Graphic Template" pop-up and it stops at 89%. I have also tried rendering current .mgrts in the timeline (which are labeled red) so the playback will be smoother - in which case, they render for a short while, then stop - not fully rendering. I have even tried I/O render and that doesn't even work.

I have tried these same .mgrts in a regular project (local my pc) and they render just fine.

I am using an Alienware M16 R1 Laptop with an i9 13900HX, 64 GB RAM and a 4090 GPU.

We are using DropBox for all of our TeamProjects and have set the Scratch Disks up in Drop Box already. Any ideas? Because I have searched everywhere, and I am literally going mad trying to find help.

The problem is Dropbox. That, WeTransfer, OneDrive, most of those "services" mess with the file headers to track usage, need to sync, and other things. This interferes with an NLE's normal patterns in referencing and using the files.

Use them as a transfer service, but don't work with files in folders controlled by them.

LucidLink is an entirely different service, and well ... there it does work. Stunningly. But that was designed from the get-go for pro video transport support. Knowing how pro video apps work.

Hey, I'm a practical guy what's been needing to deliver goods to the nice clients what pays all our bills for DECADES. So the main thing for me is simply relief you're working again!

And ... welcome to the LucidLink Multiverse! That's an amazing way to work with the team members you choose from around the world. Also, remember the LucidLink Slack channel is amazing support, with many staffers "riding" the conversations there and giving immediate feedback.

I got it figured out! Turns out that if you have a Team Project and switch from Google Drive to Drop Box to Lucid Link, that some files might get corrupted in the process. I just need to laugh at myself a little. Anyway, I created a new Team Project after the migration to Lucid Link and everything has been working flawlessly.

Thanks again for your Legendary help and suggesting Lucid Link for our project!

"Bringing over ..." ... describe what you're doing here.

Alright, so I have transferred everything over to Lucid Link, uploaded and even created the Scratch Disc folder. This has solved the issue of .mgrts rendering inside the timeline/sequence. However, when bringing over .mgrts (whether they be straight from Adobe or Motion Array) from the Essential Graphics panel, they load to 89% and stop. I am at my wits end here, and under a pretty hectic deadline (as I am sure we all are). Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated. I would even pay someone to hop in our Discord to help us at this point lol.

Thank you so much! We were using Google Drive and switched over to DropBox.

I will set up our Team Project in LucidLink right away.

Surprised to see no solutions here. This can't be that isolated of an issue. Is there a process that happens in the background for a .mgrt file to render? I have heard that certain parts of it go in the timeline directly, and then other parts are rendered elsewhere. Either way, it's working on regular projects, but for some reason they will not render on our Team Projects.

If anyone has any ideas that can shed some light onto a possibe solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
