Cannot set limits on cache

V25.3 and MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1

 

I can't seem to change the value of either of the two cache settings here.

 

I can save as a new value, and restart Premiere... but when I go back to the settings they are back to 90 days and 233GB

 

Is there a way around this?
