Cannot use Sony A6400 XAVC S footage

Hello Community,

I am trying to use footage recorded with my A6400 XAVC-S 4K 30p 100M format, but it is copletely torn, unusable. Have been digging the internet for while but was unable to find anything related. (just some old posts about XAVC-S support). Does anyone have a clue on this?

Tried Premiere CC 2024 and beta as well. Intel PC, Core5 6thgen + RTX4060.

On my Macbook (M1) the issue does nit persist.

It is intel core5 10600K and using latest, 546.33 studio driver.

My bad, it is 10th gen. I have no problem using other 4k h.264 or hevc footage.

6th Gen? Intel is on 14th currently. At some point h.264 is going to overwhelm your machine. Think of Proxy workflow using ProRes proxy format. (works great) or transcoding your footage to some vintage of ProRes.
