Question

Cannot view only source monitor when using proxies in PPcc since new update

I have been using proxies for my edit in PPcc for some time now. The most recent edit will only show 2 screens: reference and source in the edit mode. When I try switching to composite to view only one screen it turns off my proxies. This is the 2nd big issue I have had since the recent update. The last one involved several days of problem solving on my end and 2 hours on the phone with a tech and I just don't have that kind of time. Please help!

I'm trying to sort your issue out ... you mention Reference and Source monitors ... what about the Program monitor? I'm puzzled as to which you're using to do what, and when you do something what happens ...

My apologies. It is a split screen labeled reference and current. I just want to view the clip in the timeline. This is a new thing since the last update. I should also mention that the reference and clip do not match what my pointer is on in the timeline. The current does. I have tried switching to composite with the wrench tool but it turns off my proxies.

Nevermind....... It seems I am back to the original issue I had with the update on my other issue before I can even address this. I have take my current edit to a new project since it too is glitching like the other edit in export. Hopefully I can fix this without calling in again. I am cursing this latest update as I am in the middle of 2 film edits and missing my deadlines.
