Canon C300MK2 footage audio only import

Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a tremendous day! The last two new project I've started only import the audio into the timeline. I can import the video clip into the project itself, however, when I try to import the clip from the source monitor only the audio appears. My work around is to start a new sequence, copy that clip, paste it into my original timeline, and then delete the new sequence I started.

There has to be a better way or fix for this.

I'm on a Mac and am up to date with all software and OS.

Current specs:

Mac Pro (late 2013)

3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5

32 GB DDR 3

AMD FirePro D500 3072

You mean to say  you have video and audio in the Project Panel but only Audio in the Source monitor.

Just to make sure are your tracks source patched (I dont mean targeted) V1 and A1 on the far left.
