Cant reply to discussions all of a sudden

Why cant I suddenly reply to some discussions in the forum? When I hit reply the button just disappears . Whats happening?

    This forum's software base has been somewhat ... problematical. They've been working to upgrade things since they adopted this last fall, and some things have improved. Some ... haven't.

     

    For a couple days, forum refresh speed (which had been utterly horrid) was dramatically improved. But that's back much of the time for me to .... s   l   o   w   ...

     

    And I occasionally get a refresh where there's only the headers of the page, no list of topics. And it can take a couple 'hits' of the refresh operations of the browser before the topics reappear.

     

    So ... I think it's just a problem with something on this forum's software glitching.
