Cant right click or enable/disable caption tracks

I assumed you meant "caption track" as created by the captioning tools, and labeled C1, C2, etc in the timeline header area. As opposed to graphics text "captions" that appear in a video track, labeled V1, V2, etc.

You can right-click on a "clip" in a video track, and Enable (or disable) the clip. Is that what you are trying?

A screenshot might help.

And yes, I would try Ann's suggestion of a preferences reset.

@Stan JonesI meant that the entire right click menu will not appear. Usually when I right click, I can choose the "enable" option from the list, and that will allow me to enable or disable an individual clip. I also have the shortcut assigned to both "E" and "0", neither of those work.

@Michael GrenadierCurrently working my way down to 23.2 to see if that fixes it.

You can't right-click to disable: you just click on the eyeball. Is that not working? Working for me on Win10.

What shortcut are you using, and how do you have it assigned?

revert to a previous version of 23.  I found 23.2 particularly stable, but 23.4 seems to be working ok for me.  If you need help reverting, post back.
