Caption Editing Massively Bugging on Premiere Pro 23.4

Since the update, when I edit text in the 'Captions' area, it often lags, buffers and goes back to before the editing... Sometimes 4 or 5 times. I'm using Premiere Pro on a MacBook Pro on Ventura 13.3.1. Here is a video to illustrate the bug: https://youtu.be/4ZakYutI9zc

I don't think it's related but I'm correcting captions that came from the automatic transcription performed by the software.

I have cleared the unsued cache and moved it to an SSD external hard drive. But it did not help. Any feedback is welcome.

Just to clarify, in case it's part of the problem, I'm working locally with files that are also located on an SSD external hardrive.
