Caption Edits not saving and only allowing me to type one letter at a time

Hello I am using Premiere Pro Beta on a 2022 Mac Studio running Ventura 13.5.2. None of my caption Edits are saving and only its only allowing me to type one letter at a time and then the edit option closes and I have to double-click and edit again. I fix it and save and export and my edits are not being saved. Help!

    The workaround is editing in the Program Monitor.

     

    Always report the Build number when addressing issues in the Beta version. This bug appeared around Build 26, and we are already up to Build 31. It will be fixed soon, and might be fixed in any build.
