Caption not exporting as cut in timeline

Hi everybody,

I have an issue with captions in Premiere and I can't find a solution, I hope someone can help me.

I imported and .srt files, that's been sent from the client, and put it on my timeline to match the video, and everything is ok.

I then needed to cut the caption track on the timeline, due to client requests. When I exported the file, using export-->caption, the exported .srt file doesn't match the cuts I made in the timeline. How can I export a file that match exactly the caption timeline track?

    Maddening, but Open Titles can only be exported as srt from the Project Panel - and the timecodes are within that caption stream, not the timecodes of each caption in the sequence. Basically, you cannot cut the stream up in the sequence to make changes.
