Caption track Height

Is there any way to change the size of the caption track?  I am aware that Adobe wants to limit the amount of space a caption track can take.  I have also found that if I hover over the very left hand side of the caption track and hold the option key, I can change the size of the caption track, even making it so large that the caption track controls disappear.  But I cannot seem to be able to change the amount of space the caption track takes up?

Anyone have any thoughts?

I found a way to resize the caption track on a mac:
Step 1: Use the Option-key and scrollwheel to change to the desired height.
Step 2: Press the "caption track option" the timeline panel AND select " Show active caption track only" and Voila! The Caption track changes to the chosen height in a way that the whole track is shown.

No, for whatever reason, they did not make the caption track height adjustable.
