Captions are NOT aligned with the video..

Question

When I put footage into Premiere 2026, and generate captions it is always NEVER aligned with the footage, either shifted ahead or behind, which is a HUGE timewaster for myself.

This happens with captions, but even when I turn the captions into Graphics, it’s the same issue.

Not sure if there is a fix for this, captions to be more aligned, or something that’ll save me way more time than fixing 200+ captions on a video..

True?What version of PR are you using?What do you mean by aligned? It may seem obvious, but caption timing can vary quite a bit. Some users have complained that a caption does not end at an edit point when it should.Screenshot or screen recording might help.Stan
