Hi everyone! I’m trying to capture video in Premiere Pro CC with the built in FaceTime camera on my brand new MacBook Pro. However the capture panel says the device is “Offline”. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't believe that will be possible.  Your best option is a proper camera.

All you have to do is open up the Photo Booth app on your Mac, which will allow you to record a video. Then you can drag the video thumbnail to any folder on your computer, then import it into Premiere like any regular file! Easy peasy!
