Hello all,  I wanted to see if this was possible as I cant seem to find how.

Id like to capture 2 4K cameras with HDMI into the capture function

1 screengrab of my desktop

1 microphone

1 stereo audio line in

Is this doable or possible?  Or is the an app like Screenflow that would allow me to inport directly in Premier in one click?

Thanks all

Premiere capture is only for FireWire.

Not sure, but you will need a special capture card for HDMI.

It might not help in your case but I can capture any video source with my Blackmagic Ultra Studio 4K using Premiere.

Yes, it would be interesting to know.

I have never had a problem with BM capture both with my old Decklink Card or my newer Ultra studio.

You have to first set the correct input for the card usinf the BM Desktop Video Setup.

It will be menu like this:

Then in the Premiere Capture panel select BM as the source:

You can the select the Video Standard and the Video capture file format using the properties option:

Most of the limited number codec available seem aimed at SD capture. The AVIs will make very lage files at 4K, It's a shame you can't have the normal export codec options like Prores.

Although this capture works I now use my Teranex to convert to SDI and then record on my Video Assist giving me the option of DNxHD and Prores. (Sorry this seem like an advert for BM)

You need to capture with something else like OBS. Properly setup.

Premiere is designed for editing not capture.
