Cashe files being saved in 2 places

I setup my cashe files to be saved on my local raid drive 

/Volumes/Hi-Speed Scratch Cache/ADOBE CACHE FILES/Media Cache Files

but I'm also finding them in the common folder on my network drive

/Users/jbellomo/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Media Cache Files.

Why are they being saved to this common area?
