Catalyst Prepare plugin converts 50p media to 25p

Wow, even more issues with Catalyst Prepare plugin!

I was wondering why playback of my 50p footage was shuttering like its 25p.

Then I rendered proxies and stuttering was gone.

Then I found out that the Catalyst prepare plugin is not active for proxy media.

So i removed the plugin.

Now media plays back in 50p again. 

Very strange, did anyone find a fix?

Its NOT a performance problem, although performance is compromised as well with the plugin.

It just drops 50 percent of the frames and even worse: its the same on export!
