Change Text Color

I am using this Motion Graphics template (attached) and I cannot find a way to change the text color. I can change the overall color scheme (the orange to blue, or red, etc) but no option for changing text color. Any suggestions? Thanks!

On specialized mogrts like that, the ONLY options the user has are those that the maker chooses to give. So you need to study them to see what the options are that come along with them.

 

You can change that though, with a bit of work. It involves opening the mogrt in AfterEffects, adding the options you want to the user-options panel, and then re-exporting the new mogrt. It's actually fairly easy to do.

    Doing this the first time will take you maybe half an hour, mostly working through Jarle's book to get the right bits. The actual changes take a few seconds is all.

     

    And then ... you see how to take any mogrt you get, and expand or change the options to suit your needs. All very quickly, really.

    Perhaps the person who made the motion graphic template didn't include that ability? Depending on how it was made there is a way to open the MOGRT in After Effects and make changes there.
