Change the "Adobe Premiere Pro Video Previews" folder to be elsewhere on the same drive

Question

Since my projects folders are backed up to the cloud in realtime, I'd like to move that previews folder elsewhere, perhaps the main User/Documents section of the same and only fast m2.ssd drive that my laptop has.

I know I can do this in File > Project Settings > Scratch disk, however that works for the currently open project, how do I make this a default setting for all future projects?

Hi yash-lucid,Welcome to the community! Currently, there is no way to bulk change the Project Settings for multiple projects. For existing projects, you need to make these changes individually. However, as suggested by our experts, you may create a Project Template with the desired settings & then use that for your future projects. As Neil said, PPro remembers the settings of your last project and apply those to the new ones.

If it's not working for some reason, create a new file, set the previews folder, save the project as a template. Now when you create a new project, you have the option to choose the saved template as a base for your new project.
