changing the direction of the speedboat

I'm editing the footage and realized that the only  high aerial drone shot  with downtown we have is the boat speeding vertically up towards a city downtown and not away from it as it should.  Horizontal or vertical flips don't do it neither reverse speed because we can't just reverse the boats direction because it has to go front of the boat first off course. Any worth while solutions ? Thank you.

Without seeing the shot..impossible to say if there is a fix ( apart from ...sounds like a reshoot !)

A possibility is masking/ rotoscoping in to a composite but that depends on your footage and the framing and the stability etc..

This might be one of those things you just can't fix in post (unless you're ILM).

    1. thank you, I see. So in that case i assume i will just remove the downtown from the shot as if the boat would just be driving towards open ocean. In order to remove the downtown from the top of the video (nothing is blocking it)  I would have to check some kind of rotoscoping tutorial I assume ?

    2. On another note , i have on a separate shot an aerial of the boat going forward too slow, so should i right click and use the Speed/Duration option to go for example from 100% to 200% or instead increase the frame rate up from the 29.97 fps to make the boat appear to move faster ?

    3. I also need to make the above shot lighter because its almost after sunset in order to illuminate the boat more, i assume playing with color correction is the easiest , brightness/contrast etc. ?

    4. Last we are shooting this film on Panasonic Lumix Gh4 4k and 2k and a 4k drone and at leat the Gh4 has already appropriate filter on it as we film so post production adjustment is minimal although still recommended. But shortly in order to make the footage more 35 mm like with rich cinematic colors , is there an appropriate filter to look into on Premiere Pro or After Effects ?

    5. Btw the actors' skin has a beautiful golden color naturally when reviewing the camera videos on Windows Media Player only but the colors are dull when playing the video full resolution on Adobe Premiere Pro , Quicktime or any other software regardless if I filmed it on mov or mp4 formats. To emulate the Windows Player look in post doesn't seem to be that easy without also affecting the eye colors etc.

    - A short clarification/update to my no. 1 item above regarding the same scene.

Ideally instead of only removing the downtown and the bridge from the shot I would like to move them from the top to right side of that video clip.

    - On another issue a drone aerial shot that was taken from above the boat speeding and passing the aerial drone below but the captain stopped the speedboat too early  5 seconds after the boat passing the drone vertically going up north although the boat was supposed to speed forward up to the open ocean for about 25 more seconds. Is that doable to add the boat driving extension in the loop or such in post production ?

    - As a last item the drone propels can be sometimes be seen on the drone camera against the sky and the ocean but luckily not against the boat. What would be the fastest removal method of the propels  ?

    Thank you sincerely in advance.
