Chapter Marks from Premier Pro CC to Encore CS6

On my MAC, I can create chapter marks in Premier Pro CC, generate a m2v through Media Encoder, import the m2v into Encore and see the chapter marks on the timeline. However, when I send the m2v and the XMP file to a colleague, when he imports the m2v file tin the same version of Encore on his Mac, he cannot see the chapter marks.
