Choosing multiple clips with mouse dragging is very slow (again)

This bug was much terrible back in the first days of Premiere 2023, currently it's not THAT bad but it's kinda back.

Dragging by mouse and selecting multiple clips is slowing down the selection process terribly. If i'm dragging in an empty space, no problem, but once there are multiple clips are selected, it becomes slower and slower.

I have RTX 4070 GPU on Windows 11 with Ryzen 9 5900x processor. Using dual monitor system. Using the latest Game Ready Nvidia Drivers.
