Choppy Drone footage - 60fps slow motion

Hello Premier pro Lords and lordettes

I have a 24 fps timeline where a bunch of 1080p shots in 60fps are perfectly slowed down to 40% to achieve 60FPS slowmotion. My A6000 is doing great, the shots from the gopro are doing great but the shots from the Mavic 2Pro are not behaving. They are only playin a few frames per second in the export.

The timeline when inside of premier pro plays fine.

What am i doing wrong?

See attached files and ignore cartoon noises in the background 😂

Mavic 2Pro are highly compressed footage.

Convert to an edit friendly codec or use proxies.

In future when posting a video, use screenrecording software in horizontal view. So we properly can see what is going on.

If i convert to an edit friendly codec will the translate directly into premier pro or do i have to re-edit everything?

How do i check what codec it is right now and how do i make it an edit friendly codec

You can do a Replace Footage in the Project window or make the files off line and relink to the new ones (make sure the names match).

Edit friendly is either Prores or Cineform.
