Clip and Timeline Markers

Why are only my clip markers showing in my Markers panel, and not the timeline marker?

Also, I am seeing 4 of the exact same clip markers in my Markers panel.  In the sequence, I had added a clip marker to a nested sequence (on V3, which includes two clips), and there are individual clips on V1 and V2 below it.  Did the clip marker get added to all of those, hence the duplicates?

About seeing 4 of the exact same clip markers in the Markers panel. I saw 3 similar clip markers, which were for 3 instances of the same clip on different locations of the timeline. When editing any part of the marker on one of them copies to the other two. The only way I can see around that is to only use unique clips. I thought I could have a story clip that would be story1, story2 ... storyN on the timeline. But I have to make separate clips before putting them on the timeline.

I guess I can't speak to the duplicates, but the marker window will either show the sequence markers (if you have no selections made) or it will show the clip markers of your selected clip. (You won't see sequence markers and clip markers at the same time.)
