Question

Clip heads or tails not displaying

Hello,

I'm using Premiere CS5.5.

After I imported all my videos and dragged some to a sequence, the clip heads or tails won't display. Sometimes it just displays some lines, other times it only displays a blank space. This makes it very difficult to edit as I cannot see at a glance which clips I have. I've tried restarting, switching off the heads and tails and on again but nothing. See the screenshot below to see what I'm talking about.

Any suggestions?

(sorry it wouldn't let me upload a png for some reason)

Thanks,

Athena

FYI: There is a problem popping up frequently these days with picture uploads to the fora.

As of your problem: did you try to give the images more space?

Thanks Abambo, yes some clips are 10 minutes long, and it doesn't even matter if you zoom in or out. The only thing changes is the visual glitch. Sometimes it appears as blank (As in the image) and if you zoom out they appear as vertical lines, where the head frame should be.

Thanks,

Athena

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

•nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

•ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version
