Clip Won't Export With Trim Or Effects

Ok, this is sort of like a problem I've experienced previous.

I have a clip.  I've trimmed it from 11 seconds to 9.  I drag it to the timeline.  I add a warp stabilizer effect.  I go back to the project window, right click on the clip to export it.  It will not export it with the trim nor the warp stabilizer.  I just get my original clip.

This is my usual workflow, and suddenly it's decided not to work?  Anyone see similar?

    Your results are exactly what should happen, what will happen for everyone, what has always happened.

    If you want to export the changes, do it from the sequence, not from the bin.

    Right clicking on clips in the timeline offers no option to export.  The only way to see my effects in action on individual clips is to nest them, and then export the nested clip from the bin.

    You'd create a sequence for just that clip that you want to export.  If there are many, you can work on one clip at a time.
