Clips get zoomed in when sending to Timeline

I have placed a clip on the Source monitor.  The image in the clip display OK on the monitor.

Marked an In and an Out point.  Sent it to the Timeline, but the image in the clip in the timeline is zoomed in.

Did the same procedure with other sections of the clip, always with the same result.

How could I avoid the zoomed in image?

Thanks for info.

Bert

That is because you timeline/sequence does not match your footage.

    Hi Ann.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I am new at Premiere Pro and still lost.

I tried your suggestions which opened a new Timeline with only the clip.... I copied it, closed the entire project ithout saving it, (I was afraid of loosing my entire work,) and when re-opened and pasted it onto the timeline, it still was zoomed in.

I noticed that the clips is 30 fps while the other ones are at 29.XXX

Is there a way to open the offending clip and changing it to match the rest of the clips in the project?.....or is there a way to follow your suggestion without making the regular timeline disappear?

    Thanks for  your help.

That takes you back to square one.

Just start over with a new sequence as shown in the screenshot.

If you are new to Premiere it has a very steep learning curve.
