Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2035. Updated, rebooted, and still no clock wipe. Simply does nothing in real time. Tried rendering and received render error. Tried rendering entire sequence and it locks-up. If I remove the clock wipe, the sequence renders normally.  Tried effect on various clips with same result. Clicking on the effect opens the parameters, yet effect remains unresponsive.

Thanks for this important info and the fast reply!

I really miss Bevel Edges too; Sucks to have to dink around with AE for
something so basic and simple.

Everythings costs more and delivers less these days.

Oops, obviously 2025, not 2035.
