Codec issue

Hi everyone,

I cannot find a solution to my problem. I have MPG files, extracted from a DVD player I think, which I would like to edit. However, the export looks like the picture below, no matter what codec I use (I tried to play with parameters quite a lot). The preview seems alright when set to Playback resolution to 1/2.

Any idea what's going on?
