Collapse after downloading new drivers for Adobe

I downloaded Premiere Pro and I couldn't use it as it warned me that my drivers or image card weren't the latest ones.

I tried to search using Windows Update but there was nothing else to install. I search more drivers and downloaded them manually.

When I tried using again Premiere, again the same problem. I could use it but it was so slow and it suddenly stopped working. 

I had to restore my computer.

I wanted to check if there was an older version I could use to avoid trouble, but I saw that it's not possible to use older versions of Adobe...

My computer isn't old enough in order to have this kind of trouble. 

Some years ago I could use without any troble Photoshop and Premiere.

Has anyone had the same trouble and know how can I solve it?

    You can't rely on Windows to properly update video drivers.

    Update or roll back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

    I had the same problem. When I installed Premiere and ran it for the 1st time I was greeted with this prompt:

    Under Window's device manager, I checked my video card and the lastest drivers were already installed. So then I went to Nvidia's download drivers page and manually updated drivers. Turns out Window's was wrong, and I didn't have the latest drivers after all.   

     

    As far as this being a hardware issue, I disagree with the previous poster. A 3 year old computer shouldn't be obsolete and should be more than adequate for running APP.

    System requirements have changed significant over the years for Premiere.

    A 3 year old computer is considered old in computerland.

    If you want to keep on using it: dont update the software.
