Color changed in export

When I edit a video shot in rec709 and export it to h264, the colors change! Why does this happen? I have a Dell UP3216Q monitor.

Tons of debate regarding color spaces and premiere.
The first thing to try, and be sure if there is a color change or not, is to bring back the exported file into premiere and check if its hugely different from what you edited and we'll continue the conversation from there.

Don't use QuickTime player to check file quality. NOT a good player for that.

Re-import the file into Premiere, and see if it matches the sequence. If so, then the issue is your color management outside of Premiere.

Hi axelv!

Sorry to hear that. Would you mind checking this article for some suggestions? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/faq-how-to-fix-saturated-over-exposed-hlg-clips-in-premiere-pro-v-22/td-p/12489252

Let us know.

I have a standard workflow and I follow these steps:

- Right-click on your media in the Project panel.
- Select Modify > Interpret Footage > Color Management.
- Set Color Space Override to Rec.709.
- Sequence > Sequence settings, set Working Color Space to Rec. 709.

Nothing has changed, same problem.

But my problem is different: in the PP preview I see what I would like, in export it is desaturated.
