Color Picker Inaccurate Color - Doesn't match color

This has been happening for a while, and I have not found a solution. The Color picker doesn't match the color exactly. It's hard to see, but it does not match exactly. It is always slightly off.

 

Could this be something I need to change in my settings?

    Not able to reproduce the issue. Could you please provide monitor and machine details as well? What type of sequence and media in timeline it is ? Had you changed the timeline colorspace after applying the color from color picker?

    Yeah it took me a year to find that thread for someone. I didn't google the right words.

    There was another thread on this, where turning off the Preferences option for Display Color Management got a correct 'pick'. Have you checked this?

     

    And ... @Wes Howell  ... do you have any ideas?
