Color space export premiere

Hey guys, I seriously need some help!! I'm editing on a Mac and so frustrated with the colorspace differences between the 1.96 and my 2.4. My colorist delivered me mov clips in rec709, and they look great in my premiere file and terrible in quicktime. I no longer have access to my colorist so reaching out to him isn't an option to redo any of the actual color or get anymore exports, and yes, I already know how to set my display setting to 1.96 but the issue is that I PREFER the way the clips are colored in 2.4. I'm fine with using some sort of correction lut, but none of them have been actually accurate! I'm this close to screen recording the damn thing (not really lol) because it looks fine when i do that. Why is there not a legitimate option for me?? ive been struggling with this for hours and am not an expert just really need some help here 😞 My Mac OS is Tahoe 26.3.1
