Question

Combining Sequences

Somebody mentioned this topic before. I accidentally imported all photos into a second sequence, but the properties were different somehow.

all edits I made to the second sequence do not transfer (motion/scale/position) correctly when I copy and paste everything from one sequence to the next.

could somebody please explain how this can be fixed without redoing everything?

Hi Michael,

To resize your clips from another sequence, you can follow these steps:

1. Copy and paste the clips from your original sequence to your new sequence.
2. Add the Transform effect to a clip and adjust the Scale/Position for this effect (not the Motion effect).
3. Copy this effect and paste it to all the other clips in your sequence.

If all your photos are on Track 1 in the original sequence, here's an even quicker workaround:

  • Drag your original sequence into the timeline of your new sequence.
  • Select the nested sequence in the timeline and adjust the Motion effect's Scale/Position.
  • Right-click the nested sequence and choose Multi-camera > Enable.
  • Right-click the nested sequence again and choose Multi-camera.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Paul
