Combining sequences with different video size

I am trying to combine a sequence with 720 and 1280 video size with a sequence that is much larger video size, and when i put them both into a master sequence, the smaller sequence video has a black box around it and is small. Is there anything I can do to make both sequences play in the same size?

Might want to consider doing it the other way around.

Drop the large video into sequence with the smaller video size.

This way you wont lose any image quality which you will in the way you intended.

Hi colec50254394,

In the timeline, right click on the clip (with a black box) & select Scale to Frame Size.

You can also try the Nested Sequence workflow.

Actually, don't choose Scale to Frame Size. Instead, select Set to Frame Size (available since the 2014 release of Premiere Pro CC) to scale an image to the sequence frame size without rasterizing the image. This command preserves the native pixel resolution so you see the sharpest resolution when zooming in on an image.
