Comparison view is not working in Multicam

Question

I used to activate the comparison view when I have a Multicam sequence

lately, it does not work and it shows me a black slide on both reference and current, even after inactive it and I should restart premiere to work again

I tried to change the renderer from GPU to software CPU and it kills me how much it's lagging and not working properly

please, help me if you have a solution.

I'm having the same issue - did you manage to find a solution?

If I go to comparison view on a normal sequence, everything is fine, but if there is multicam in the sequence then everything just freezes up and I have to quit and relaunch Premiere.

I'm on Premiere 23.0

Windows 11

12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900F 2.40 GHz

32GB RAM
