Conflicted files in Productions Folder

I am working in Productions with another editor and we have noticed files that only show up in the file structure, but not in Premiere itself with the ending "_conflicted". To me it looks like projects that were deleted, but are still showing up in the file structure. Does anyone know what this is? How should I deal with them? Can I delete them? Thank you!

If using LucidLink, are you storing the media there or just the project files?

My partner and I do everything stored in LucidLink, the filespace "lives" on Amazon S3 servers in London. He's in Cape Town, all Mac-geek, I'm on Oregon, totally PC. We use the LucidLink virtual drive to access all media/projects in the Production.

And we've never seen that ... so ... curious how you're setting up. As there's quite a few ways you can do it.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

@Cesca25895813rflo Premiere Pro does not create files with that "conflicted" name added. My guess is that you are storing your production in some kind of syncing service like Dropbox or Google Drive, and it is doing this when it detects a conflict so as to not destroy any data.

Thank you so much! We're using LucidLink. That's probably the source!
