Converting iPhone HDR to SDR in Premiere Pro?

Is there a way to do this seamlessly? I managed to convert some HDR files to SDR just fine by right clicking and selecting via "Encode Selected Video Files" but not all of them were able to convert. Some got really wonky and converted black and white or some other strange colors.

What's going on here? I'd love to be able to do this in Premiere but haven't found a way yet.

Select all the HDR clips in the bins, right click on them and select "interpet footage", then choose the option to convert them to Rec 709.
