Converting subtitles to graphics

Hey all,

I'm trying to make bouncy subtitles and need to convert the subtitles into graphics by clicking "Upgrade Caption to Graphic". When I do this the text just disappears. Does anyone know what to do about this?

That is odd. Can you attach a screen recording of you doing that? Then it would be easier to figure out what is going wrong
