I have a LOT of homemade movies in VHS and old VHS that I bought over the years that are no longer available.  How do I convert those with CC Premier Pro?

1 - you connect the digitizing device to your vhs player and 'capture' the video into a file on your hard drive

2 - you can't do what you want with premiere pro since it does not author/write a dvd

If you have windows the current version of Premiere Elements will author/write a dvd

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Premiere Pro forum.

You will need a VHS player and a device like the Canopus 110:

Although the 110 is no longer made, you may find a used one on eBay.

Can you give me more specific guidelines for the whole process, please?

The videos below should help. I posted a MAC and  PC tutorial. DVDs are OK but a Blu-ray would be better.
