Copy and Paste IN/OUT range between clips (information / timecode only - not actual clip)

I've looked around for a solution for this but couldn't find anything - probably because my problem is quite specific.

In the project I'm working on there was a problem with the audio sync on a clip and it was edited into the sequence WITHOUT the audio from the external microphones. Now, I'm looking to simply put in that audio underneath the camera audio. I've synced up the full audio to the full-length clip and want to simply grab the pieces that I need and put them in my timeline. The way I've been doing this is to load up the clip that's already in the timeline into the SOURCE monitor - go to the out point - copy the TIMECODE - go to the full length clip and paste the TIMECODE - then set my OUT point. I do the same for the IN point. Then I grab that clip and simply place it underneath the camera reference audio. I'm wondering - is there a way to simply copy and paste the IN/OUT range (without necessarily the clip - just the timecodes) between clips? Say if I load the clip in the source and just want to grab the timecode of the IN/OUT points and put it in another clip (which is the same clip).

Any help? I hope it's clear - please let me know if I can clarify further.
