Copy titles from Premiere into After effects

I have a set of titles in Premiere made using the titler feature. When i copy them into after effects they just come up as a black solid. Is there any way around this?

Hi Iamtimgray,

Are you trying to open your Essential Graphics templates in After effects?

Open your titles in the timeline (in Premiere Pro), right click and select Replace with After Effects Composition.
