Corrupt audio conform files - how to find and delete

was using low res H264 proxies with multitrack AAC audio. Playback was pretty poor especially audio. I suspect it is the confirm files created, and I’d like to be able to delete them - is there an easy way to find them in media cache?

thanks

Easiest way is to just dump the cache. Typically doesn't take too long to rebuild. Perhaps do it while getting ready to leave for lunch.

Look in your Edit/Preferences/Media Cache for the location ... the .pek files are the audio ones.

Captured audio & audio previews location is in the File/Project Settings/Scratch Disk dialog.

Thanks Neil - I knew where they were & the .pek are the peak files I believe. The .ims are the confirmed sound files. But they are tricky to find for one particular file and I was hoping for a right-click ‘recreate cache files’ type option
