Corrupt project file?

After weeks of trouble shooting my problems with a project, my IT friend and I have come to the conclusion that the project file itself is most likely corrupt. And trust me we have been very thorough and explored every avenue. Have you guys run across this before and if so is there a fix?

Corrupt projects can't usually be repaired.

It does happen, and many times is due to a hardware issue.

Clear media cache and make new project and import old one.

See how that goes.

I have cleared the media cache. i will try to make a new project tho. Thank you

I have opened a new project and imported the library of folders with no problem but it wont transfer the sequence. And i clicked on "add selected sequences" in the import box
